Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* At 6:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 20 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this Thursday morning to a crest of 22.5 feet this Thursday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage by early Friday
morning.
* Impact...Minor lowland flooding very similar to what has occurred
several times earlier this year during January and February of
2021.
