* Flash Flood Warning for...
Smith County in northeastern Texas...
* Until 400 PM CDT.
* At 1256 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen thus far today near Hideaway and Lindale along
Interstate 20 in northwestern Smith County. Additional rainfall
amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

At 212 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have
fallen since this morning near Hideaway and Lindale along Interstate
20 in northwestern Smith County. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to
2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
