.An airmass high in moisture content is currently in place over
extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks. A slow moving cold
front will interact with this airmass to produce numerous showers
and thunderstorms with high rainfall rates beginning today and
continuing through Thursday afternoon. Any thunderstorms that train
over areas for an extended period of time will have the potential to
produce flash flooding.
