...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT THIS 
EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL SURRY AND SOUTH CENTRAL CARROLL COUNTIES...

At 557 PM EDT, the public reported Moores Fork Creek out of its 
banks with surrounding ponds overflowing. Flash flooding is already 
occurring. The heavy rain producing showers and storms that prompted 
the warning have weakened and exited the region. However, runoff 
from these heavier rains has the potential to prompt additional 
flash flooding as water collects in streams and other low-lying 
areas.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
