  Central Montgomery County in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 345 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain that caused flash flooding of Duck Pond Road 
  from Stroubles Creek. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. 
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT THIS 
EVENING FOR CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTY...

At 534 PM EDT, trained weather spotters continued to report flash 
flooding that has closed multiple roads around Blacksburg, 
especially within the Virginia Tech campus. Between 2 and 3.5 inches 
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch 
are possible in the warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.
