EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL EDGECOMBE, NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN, SOUTHERN
HALIFAX AND NORTHEASTERN NASH COUNTIES...
At 956 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms have
weakened across the warned area. While the heavy rain has moved out
of the area, between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned
area.
