The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  North central Kiowa County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 415 PM MDT.
    
* At 400 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 9 miles north of Haswell, or 45 miles north of North La
  Junta, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  north central Kiowa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

CENTRAL KIOWA COUNTY...
    
At 402 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 10 miles north of
Haswell, or 46 miles northeast of North La Junta, moving northeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
