* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Kiowa County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 300 PM MDT.

* At 150 PM MDT, scattered severe thunderstorms were located along a 
  line extending from 7 miles east of Towner to 9 miles south of 
  Cheyenne Wells. This activity is moving south at 15 mph, and is 
  expected to spread across eastern Kiowa County.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

FOR EASTERN KIOWA COUNTY...

At 222 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles south of Towner to 11 miles north of
Chivington, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. Wind-driven hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Wind-driven hail may 
         produce substantial damage.

Locations impacted include...
Sheridan Lake, Chivington, Brandon and Towner.

At 233 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles south of Towner to 9 miles north of 
Chivington, moving south at 15 mph. There is a small chance for a 
brief tornado in southeast Kiowa County.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
