  Northeastern Costilla County in south central Colorado...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 506 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Garland,
  or 7 miles southwest of Spring Burn Scar south of Highway 160 in
  Costilla county, moving south at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Southwestern Spring Burn Scar south of Highway 160 in Costilla
  county.

FOR EAST CENTRAL COSTILLA COUNTY...

At 518 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Garland,
or 8 miles southwest of Spring Burn Scar south of Highway 160 in
Costilla county, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of east
central Costilla County.
