* WHAT...Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph 
  possible.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 AM
MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 40 to 60 mph with gusts up to 90 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...The east slopes of the southern Sangre De Cristo
  mountains. The strongest winds will occur generally south of the
  Spanish Peaks. 

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM MST Thursday. The
  strongest winds will occur generally during the 9 pm through 3
  AM time period. 

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will have the potential to blow down 
  trees and power lines. Power outages may occur. Travel will be 
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
