A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the potential of isolated flash flooding, specifically in these areas. This includes portions of the southeastern Colorado mountains and vicinity. * Until 9 PM MDT this evening. * Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to continue developing through the remainder of this afternoon and continue into this evening over the southeastern Colorado mountains and vicinity. Localized rainfall totals of one-half to one inch, with isolated amounts to near 1.5 inches, may accumulate through this evening. This activity will bring the risk for flash flooding in isolated locations across the burn scars of the southeast Colorado mountains, as well as Cottonwood Creek and Chalk Creek areas west of Buena Vista.
