...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of southeast Colorado, including 
  the following areas, Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains Between 
  8500 And 11000 Feet, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains Between 
  7500 and 11000 Feet and Walsenburg Vicinity/Upper Huerfano River 
  Basin Below 7500 Feet. This includes the Spring Burn Scar.

* Until 7 PM MDT this evening.

* Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop this afternoon 
  over the higher terrain of southern Colorado. This activity will 
  be capable of producing heavy rainfall, with localized rainfall 
  amounts over 1 inch possible. As a result, there will be some 
  potential for multiple rounds of heavy rainfall to impact the 
  Spring Burn Scar, accompanied by a risk for flash flooding over 
  the burn scar through early this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
