* At 738 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Spring Burn Scar. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar may result in debris flow
moving through the Oak Creek, south Oak Creek, and Yellowstone
Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Spring Burn
Scar.

UNTIL 1045 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY...
At 840 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain over the Spring Burn Scar. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Oak Creek, south Oak Creek, and Yellowstone
Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures. Very light rain is around the vicinity, but we flash
flooding is no longer expected.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM MDT for portions
of central Colorado, south central Colorado and southeast Colorado.
