The Telegraph burn scar in...
Gila County in east central Arizona...
* Until 1215 PM MST.
* At 818 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Telegraph Burn Scar.
Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through canyons including the Six Shooter Canyon. The debris
flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Telegraph
Burn Scar.

UNTIL 1215 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON FOR GILA COUNTY...
At 908 AM MST, Trained weather spotters reported flash flooding in
local waterways including Pinal Creek.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in flash flooding
of washes flowing down from Pinal Mountain including Six Shooter
Canyon, Ice House Canyon, and Russell Gulch. Other washes flowing
into Gilson Wash will have flooding as well.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Telegraph Burn Scar.

At 1032 AM MST, Local law enforcement reported a road closure along
Pinal Creek at Beer Tree Crossing. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Flooding of smaller washes flowing from Pinal Peak into
the Globe and Miami area is likely occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Telegraph Burn Scar.
