  Gila County in east central Arizona...

* Until 1100 PM MST.

* At 655 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain 
  has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Globe and Central Heights-Midland City.

This includes the following highways...
	US Highway 60 between mile markers 248 and 251.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of 
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains 
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep 
terrain, especially in and around these areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE TELEGRAPH BURN SCAR REMAINS IN EFFECT 
UNTIL 11 PM MST THIS EVENING FOR GILA COUNTY...

At 706 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain over the Telegraph Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain 
has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar may result in debris flow 
moving through the Six Shooter Canyon, Ice House Canyon, and into 
Pinal Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation 
and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding in and around the Telegraph Burn Scar.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The Telegraph Burn Scar in...
  Gila County in east central Arizona...

* Until 100 AM MST.

* At 1050 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain over the Telegraph Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 1.5 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Six Shooter Canyon and/or Ice House Canyon. The 
debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose 
materials.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding in and around the Telegraph
           Burn Scar.

This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause 
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and 
ditches in the Telegraph Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be 
anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in 
places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of 
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains 
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep 
terrain, especially in and around these areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE TELEGRAPH BURN SCAR IS CANCELLED FOR 
GILA COUNTY...

The heavy rain has ended and flooding is no longer expected to pose 
a threat near Pinal Creek in Globe. However, the threat of flash 
flooding continues further west and downstream of the Telegraph burn 
scar near Miami. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 500 AM MST for a portion 
of south central Arizona.
