  heavy rain across the Mescal Fire area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches 
  of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

FOR GILA COUNTY...

At 439 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the Mescal Fire area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are 
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in flash flooding 
in drainages flowing into San Carlos Reservoir and the Gila River.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.
