...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO
MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT...


* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...North Oregon Coast. The strongest winds will be found
  along the more exposed beaches and headlands.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to midnight PST tonight. There
  will likely be a spike in the winds midday with another 
  potentially stronger short burst of strong winds later this 
  evening.
 
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines.
  Scattered power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
