...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest to west winds of 40 to 50 mph with gusts of 55
  to 60 mph through 6 PM MDT and then gradually decreasing and
  becoming northwest through the evening hours.

* WHERE...Arco and Mud Lake Desert, including INL.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult or even hazardous, especially
  for high profile vehicles across the Arco Desert and INL through
  early this evening. Expect strong gusty cross winds and areas of
  blowing dust with visibility reduced to 1/4 mile at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest to west winds of 30 to 40 MPH with gusts of 50
  to 55 MPH.

* WHERE...The eastern Magic Valley, Snake Plain, and adjacent
  highlands, including but not limited to Shoshone, Burley,
  Oakley, Craters of the Moon, American Falls, McCammon, Lava Hot
  Springs, Soda Springs, Pocatello, Chubbuck, Aberdeen, Blackfoot,
  Idaho Falls, and Rexburg. This includes Shoshone Bannock tribal
  lands.

* WHEN...Until to 10 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds are expected to create difficult driving
  conditions for high profile vehicles. Areas of blowing dust may
  reduce visibility to 1/4 mile at times resulting in highway
  closures, especially in trouble spots such as Interstate 15
  between Idaho Falls and Hamer, Interstate 15 in the Fort Hall
  area, and Interstate 86 in the Arbon Valley and Rainbow Road
  area. Isolated tree damage and power outages are also possible.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IS CANCELLED...

Winds are still breezy but have significantly dropped across the
area with northerly winds moving in place. Some gap winds and a
few other isolated areas are still gusting in 30 to 40 mph range.
Expect winds to drop off significantly by around midnight for most
areas except for gap wind areas.
