...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE...
NORTHWESTERN KENT...NORTHEASTERN QUEEN ANNE'S AND NORTHEASTERN KENT
COUNTIES...
At 1238 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Cecilton, or
10 miles west of Middletown, moving southeast at 20 mph.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Smyrna, Clayton, Millington, Sudlersville, Sassafras,
Green Spring, Delaney Corner, Massey, Crumpton, Kennedyville, Mount
Pleasant, Townsend, Galena, Odessa, Kenton and Chambersville.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
