* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Spencer County in southwestern Indiana...
* Until 700 AM CDT.
* At 414 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain and isolated
thunderstorms in southern Spencer County. Radar estimates that
between 2 and 4 inches of rain has fallen from Eureka to Richland
City, Sand Ridge, Reo, to Rockport overnight. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

FOR SOUTHERN SPENCER COUNTY...
At 556 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported numerous roads under
water in southern Spencer county, including State Route 545 near New
Boston, County Road 200 West near Rockport, State Route 161 near
Richland City, and County Road 200 North near Reo. Between 4 and 5
inches of rain has fallen overnight. Flash flooding is ongoing.
