AFTERNOON FOR CHRISTIAN AND TODD COUNTIES...

At 1253 PM CST, widespread rural and urban flash flooding was 
reported across the warned area. The Little River in and around 
Hopkinsville is in minor to major flood stage. Between 2 and 4 
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rounds of moderate to heavy 
rain are expected through 3 PM.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
         drainage and low lying areas.
