* At 1233 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms along and
ahead of a cold front producing heavy rain across the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Some of these storms
are capable of extremely high rainfall rates of 1 inch in 15
minutes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Another 1 to 2 inches is possible with locally higher amounts.

AFTERNOON FOR CALDWELL, CALLOWAY, GRAVES, LYON, MARSHALL AND TRIGG
COUNTIES...
At 129 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Heavy rain will continue for the next
hour or so before tapering off. Another 1 to 2 inches is possible.
Use extreme caution if traveling this afternoon across much of west
Kentucky.

and northeast. While some light rain may linger, the threat for

as some areas with water may be slow to drain or recede.
