WESTERN BAYLOR COUNTIES...
At 901 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Goree, moving
south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Seymour, Munday, Crowell, Benjamin, Goree, Red Springs, Vera, Thalia,
Gilliland, Rhineland, Bomarton and southwestern Lake Kemp.
The storm east of Munday likely has the larger hail and stronger
winds. Other severe storms were still moving south through the
eastern half of Knox County.
