* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Greer County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 1242 PM CDT, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mangum.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

The National Weather Service in Norman has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Greer County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 259 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding 2 
  miles west of Mangum along Highway 9. Water is flowing over the 
  highway. Several roadways are impassable just west and north of 
  Mangum. Between 5 and 6 inches of rain have fallen, and although 
  most of the heavy rainfall has ended, flash flooding is occurring 
  and will continue for another 1 to 2 hours.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Emergency management.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
