At 611 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles west of Chelan, or 26 miles north of Wenatchee, moving northeast at 20 mph. Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. Winds could also cause damage to trees or tree limbs. Locations impacted include... Chelan, Entiat, Chelan Falls, Stayman, Manson, Lake Chelan State Park and Azwell. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Heavy rainfall is also possible with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
