inundation above ground level in vulnerable areas near the
waterfront and shoreline. For the Coastal Flood Statement, up
to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in
vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.
* WHERE...Southern Nassau County.
* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM EDT early
this morning. For the Coastal Flood Statement, from 3 PM EDT
this afternoon through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding in the most vulnerable
locations near the waterfront and shoreline this morning. Expect
around 1 foot of inundation above ground level in low lying,
vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including
