...BRIEF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THE HIGH TIDE
LATE TODAY...

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents
  expected. Also brief minor flooding, with less than one half 
  foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable 
  areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...Southern Nassau County.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through this evening. For
  any minor coastal flooding, around the time of high tide late 
  today, between 6 PM and 8 PM. 

* IMPACTS...Life-threatening rip currents are likely. Rip currents
  can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper
  water. Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations is
  also possible near the waterfront and shoreline. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The high rip current risk and potential for
  brief minor flooding may continue into Wednesday.
