ROANE COUNTIES...

At 552 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have 
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 inch are possible in the 
warned area during the next hour. Flash flooding is expected to 
continue at least for the next hour.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

EVENING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL ANDERSON, CENTRAL KNOX AND NORTHEASTERN 
ROANE COUNTIES...

At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms 
producing heavy rainfall had moved out of the warned area. Between 
2.5 and 3 inches of rain was estimated to have fallen. Additional 
rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are still possible in the warned 
area as light to moderate rainfall continues over part of the area 
through 745 pm.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
