The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Lac qui Parle County in west central Minnesota...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 757 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Artichoke, or
  14 miles southwest of Morris, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of Lac
  qui Parle County, including the following locations... Louisburg,
  Nassau, Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge, Cerro Gordo, Madison
  Airport and Florida Creek Wildlife Management Area.

EXPIRE AT 845 PM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
