...A STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES...CHOCTAW AND NORTHWESTERN CLARKE COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM
CDT...
At 815 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Butler, moving
southeast at 10 mph. Other strong storms will also be moving
southeast across other portions of Choctaw county and into northern
Clarke county through 9 PM.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Butler, Lisman, Pennington and Toxey.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
