The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Wayne County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 130 PM CDT.

* At 1234 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Moss, or 4
  miles south of Stringer, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Smith County Emergency management reported several trees 
           downed as this storm moved across the southern portions 
           of the county. 

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Waynesboro.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN WAYNE COUNTY...

At 1256 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line 
extending from 4 miles south of De Soto to Laurel, moving east at 55 
mph. These storms have had a history of producing wind damage.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Waynesboro.
