* Forecast...Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall from bands associated
with Hurricane Ida will cause the river to rise above the flood
stage of 12 feet by late Monday morning and to a crest of around
14.9 feet by early Tuesday morning. The river is forecast to fall
below flood stage Tuesday evening. This forecast may change
dependent on observed and any changes to expected rainfall, so
continue to monitor the latest forecasts closely.
