* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
* Until 445 PM CDT.
* At 1054 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Foley, Elberta and Miflin.
Continued training of storms will lead to rapid water rises. Even if
storms only persist another 20 to 30 minutes we could be seeing
rainfall totals of 4 to 6 inches in an hour and a half which could
lead to rapid creek rises and quick urban flooding.

AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN BALDWIN COUNTY...
At 1111 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in
1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Foley, Elberta and Miflin.
Reports of 3 to 4 inches of rain have fallen across the Foley area
and continued heavy rain with 2 to 3 inch per hour rates. Local
creeks appear to have begun to swell and should continue to swell
over the next couple of hours. Use caution driving around Foley and
surrounding areas.

At 147 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Reports of numerous
roads flooded with at least one road with a foot of water on it.
Please do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways! Between 5
and 6 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5
to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Foley, Elberta and Miflin.
Additonally heavy rainfall runoff has caused several creeks to rise
rapidly and will continue to rise over the next few hours. This
includes Wolf Creek which has now reached 15 feet and continues to
rise. Historically, this creek has reached 15 feet only a handful of
times and significant flooding near the creek could be possible.
