...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN MIAMI-DADE...CENTRAL
BROWARD AND CENTRAL PALM BEACH COUNTIES UNTIL 715 PM EDT...

* At 640 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
  tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lion
  Country Safari Park to 12 miles southwest of Intersection Alligator
  Alley And Miami Canal. Movement was east at 20 mph.

* Winds in excess of 45 mph possible with these storms.

* Locations impacted include...
  Pembroke Pines, Miramar, West Palm Beach, Sunrise, Wellington, Palm
  Beach Gardens, Weston, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee NWR,
  Intersection I-75 And U.S. 27, Mile Marker 30 On Alligator Alley,
  North County Airport, Loxahatchee Groves, Intersection Alligator
  Alley And Miami Canal, Intersection Krome And U.S. 27, Lion Country
  Safari Park, The Acreage, East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, Golden
  Lakes and West Broward Rec. Area On Alligator Alley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. If
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck! Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This activity was also developing in an environment favorable for the
