...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHERN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY...

At 408 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated 2 and 5 inches of rain have 
fallen from the earlier thunderstorms this afternoon. Another area 
of thunderstorms have developed over western metro areas of Central 
Miami-Dade County. These storms will move east northeast and should 
move into the Flash Flood Warning area during the next hour bringing 
additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Miami, Hialeah, Miramar, Miami Beach, Surfside, Miami Gardens, 
  North Miami, Doral, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Miami Lakes, 
  Hialeah Gardens, Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka, Miami Springs, 
  Miami Shores, North Bay Village, El Portal, Medley and Pinewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you 
can do so safely.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an additional round of 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across northern Miami-Dade 
  County. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen over portions 
  of northeastern Miami-Dade County. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area with this next round 
  of storms. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
