  the Tombigbee River near Amory.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 9:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  this evening to a crest of 23.2 feet tomorrow morning. It will 
  then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Most lowland and farm land near the river 
  is flooded. Equipment and livestock may need to be moved to higher 
  ground.

* At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tomorrow 
  morning to 14.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below 
  flood stage early Thursday morning to 13.2 feet and begin rising 
  again Thursday morning. It will rise to 14.0 feet early Thursday 
  afternoon. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying agricltural land is 
  occurring.
