Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  North Fork Obion River near Martin

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All 
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

  the North Fork Obion River near Martin.
* From this afternoon to late tonight.
* At 12:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 18.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  this afternoon to a crest of 20.5 feet. It will then fall below 
  flood stage late this evening.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Flooding is occurring along the North Fork 
  Obion River in Northeast Obion County and Northwest Weakley 
  County. Flooding is also occurring in low lying areas near Union 
  City.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.1 
  feet on 05/18/2008.
