  Northern Hale County in northwestern Texas...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.
    
* At 929 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 5 miles south of Halfway, or 6 miles northwest of Hale
  Center, moving north at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 936 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Halfway, or 7 miles northwest of Hale Center, moving
north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
