Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  South Fabius River near Taylor.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast 
precipitation for the next 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even 
higher than predicted. The NationalWeather Service will monitor this 
developing situation and issue follow up statements as conditions 
change.

* At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 9:30 AM CDT Sunday was 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5 feet 
  early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage 
  Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 13.6 feet, Missouri State Route M west of Route D 
  begins flooding near this height.  This road closed during South 
  Fabius River flood of September 11, 2014.
