THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...Antelope Valley.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 9 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and reduced visibility from blowing dust
  will make driving difficult. Gusty winds could blow around
  unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few
  power outages may result. Major roadways impacted by the gusty
  winds include Highways 14 and 138. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

  gusts 35 to 45 mph, mainly across the foothills, and coastal 
  areas from Gaviota to Goleta. Strongest winds near Gaviota and 
  Refugio.

* WHERE...Santa Barbara County South Coast and Santa Barbara 
  County Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM PDT early this morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and
  make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result. Major roadways impacted by the gusty winds include
  Highways 101 and 154.

Southwest to west winds will remain gusty in the foothills and
canyons of the Antelope Valley overnight, but below advisory 
levels. Expect gusts up to 40 mph at times which could blow around
unsecured objects briefly. The windiest area will be near Lake
Palmdale along Highway 14.
