...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 
  mph expected.

* WHERE...Los Angeles County Mountains excluding the Santa 
  Monica Range. Strongest near the Grapevine and the San Gabriel 
  Peaks.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and 
  make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 
  This includes Interstate 5 and Highway 14 in Los Angeles 
  County. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages 
  may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty winds will continue tonight, but 
  this is covered in the Winter Storm Warning (see LAXWSWLOX).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
