...HARD FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures between 24 and 29 degrees 
  expected for 4 or more hours.

* WHERE...Antelope Valley.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 9 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Damage to outdoor plumbing possible. Expect severe
  damage to crops or sensitive vegetation, and harm to unprotected
  pets or livestock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Central Coast.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and
  make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
  Roadways may be affected by gusty cross winds. This includes
  Highways 1, 46, and 101. Tree limbs could be blown down and a 
  few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
