producing heavy rain and flash flooding across the warned area.
Flooded roadways have been reported in Bardstown this morning.
Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as

AFTERNOON FOR NORTH CENTRAL LARUE, CENTRAL NELSON AND NORTHERN
WASHINGTON COUNTIES...
At 950 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain and flash flooding across the warned area.
Several flooded roadways have been reported in Bardstown this
morning, and water has approached some residences in town. Water
rescues have also been performed in Bardstown. Between 2 and 4
inches of rain have fallen, with the highest totals generally in
Nelson County. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area, which will only worsen ongoing flooding.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
