The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Ohio County in central Kentucky...

* Until 615 AM CDT Sunday.

* At 1214 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1 
  hour. Additional thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall will 
  continue to train over Ohio County from the west. Flash flooding 
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hartford, Beaver Dam, Fordsville, Centertown, Mchenry, Rockport, 
  Rochester, Dukehurst, Sandefur Crossing and Jingo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
