* Until 1215 AM CDT.
* At 621 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
possible in the warned area through midnight. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rainfall from hurricane
rainbands.

thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
5 and 11 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Combination of
surge and heavy rain is leading to significant flash flooding
concerns around Covington, Mandeville, and Madisonville. Flash
flooding due to heavy rain is expected around Slidell.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
