The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Harrison County in southern Mississippi...
  Southwestern Jackson County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 139 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly. After heavy rain earlier water will begin to 
  collect quickly in low lying areas with flash flooding expected.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL HARRISON AND SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTIES...

At 252 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have 
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in 
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly. Light to moderate rain continues but there is another 
strong storm moving into Mississippi sound that could move into the 
warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
