* The latest estimated stage is 2.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.0 feet 
  Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 5.0 feet, Low spots on South Perkins Ferry Road have 
  water on it. Water is over some boat docks on South Perkins Ferry 
  Road and over boat ramps at Sam Houston Jones State Park. 
  Extensive marshland flooding will occur upstream and downstream 
  from the park.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river  will rise above flood stage early Thursday 
  morning and continue to rise to 17.1 feet Thursday morning. It 
  will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Roads along Bayou Fuseilier are impassable. 
  These include but are not limited to Walnut and Green roads along 
  the St. Martin, St. Landry Parish line, as well as Meche Road in 
  St. Landry Parish.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  Thursday afternoon to a crest of 14.0 feet early Friday afternoon. 
  It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora, 
  including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu 
  and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of 
  water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of 
  forested areas near the river will also occur.

* Until late tonight.
* At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 8:45 AM CDT Thursday was 13.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late 
  this evening and continue falling to 8.8 feet Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, When the river is falling and the gauge 
  reading is forecast to be near 12 feet, flooding of forested areas 
  near the river will occur.

* At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 17.7 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0 feet 
  this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday 
  morning.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, minor flooding begins along the bayou with 
  a few structures right along the bayou threatened.

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 9:35 AM CDT Thursday was 2.9 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 3.6 feet early Monday 
  morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 4.0 feet, Goos Ferry Road becomes impassable. 
  Calcasieu River from the Saltwater Barrier to the parish line may 
  be closed to recreational boat traffic.
