heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches
in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 6 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing

rainfall continuing to fall across the warned area at times. Water
is covering some of the area roadways and several stream gages in
the area continue to show runoff continuing. Between 3 and 6
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

JEFFERSON AND ORANGE COUNTIES...
The heavy rain has ended at this time, however water does continue
rising on larger streams and bayous. Flash Flooding is no longer
expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT Wednesday for
portions of Louisiana and southeast Texas.
