...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS LIKELY IN THE EASTERN
PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA THIS AFTERNOON...

.Dry northwesterly winds will increase this afternoon to 15 to 20
MPH with frequent gusts to 30 MPH. As temperatures rise into the
upper 60s to around 70 degrees this afternoon, minimum relative
humidity will fall off to around 15 percent. The combination of
low relative humidity, gusty winds and dry fuels, will lead to
critical fire weather conditions.

in effect from 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ this afternoon to 8 PM CDT /7 
PM MDT/ this evening.

* Affected Area...In NEZ204...Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern 
  Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR. In NEZ210...Fire Weather Zone 210 
  Frenchman Basin. In NEZ219...Fire Weather Zone 219 Loess 
  Plains.

* Winds...Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Timing...1 PM to 8 PM CDT (Noon to 7 PM MDT)

* Relative Humidity...As low as 15 percent.

* Temperatures...In the mid 60s.

* Impacts...Any fires which do develop have a high probability to
