Satellite imagery and available radar place widespread showers and thunderstorms east of the center of circulation. As Elsa moves north northwest to the west of the Florida Keys later tonight and Tuesday morning, deep tropical moisture will converge well to the east of the center of circulation. The resulting broad strip of very heavy rainfall will likely affect portions of the Florida Keys.
